3. App infrastructure
Server-side processing for the Bimo app runs on functions hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), in region europe-west1 (Belgium). The associated database is located in the European Union.
Content submitted for analysis is not retained there: it is processed and then destroyed. The history of checks is stored on the user's device. Details of the processing operations, processors and retention periods are set out in our privacy policy.
4. Mobile app
The Bimo app (identifier com.devolim.antiscam) is published by BAUGEY MATHEO and
distributed through the App Store (Apple Inc.) and the Google Play Store
(Google LLC). The publisher is solely responsible for the content and operation of the app; the distribution
platforms act as technical intermediaries and are neither publishers nor parties to the terms of use.
5. Data sources and third-party services
The app compares the elements extracted from a message against public sources and reputation services. The acknowledgements below are required by the terms of those sources; they imply no partnership and no endorsement of the app by the bodies concerned, and the selection of sources may change.
- Google Safe Browsing: reputation of web addresses, provided by Google and used here in accordance with its terms of service.
- Domain name registries (RDAP protocol): creation date and declared registrant of a domain, as published by the competent registries.
- Public phishing report lists: addresses reported by the community, published under their respective licences.
- Blocklists of the French financial authorities (AMF, ACPR), published on data.gouv.fr under the Etalab Open Licence: unauthorised or impersonated entities.
- Public domain popularity rankings: a heavily visited domain is rarely a throwaway site.
- Contact details of public reporting bodies, reproduced for information from their official publications.
Results from these sources are presented as they are, without the publisher warranting their accuracy, completeness or currency. The absence of an address from a public list never means that it is safe.
6. Brands and institutions mentioned
The app names companies, banks, delivery firms and public bodies solely to indicate that their identity is being impersonated by third parties in fraud attempts, and to help users tell a legitimate domain from an imitation.
Such mentions constitute referential, informational use of the mark, for public information and fraud prevention purposes. They imply no partnership, affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by the rights holders concerned, and are in no way intended to discredit those entities, which are themselves victims of the impersonation. All trade marks mentioned remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Intellectual property
All the elements making up the website https://bimo.devolim.fr and the Bimo app (text, structure, navigation, visual identity, logo, icon, the Bimo mascot, illustrations, interfaces, source code, catalogue of findings, educational guides and databases) are the exclusive property of BAUGEY MATHEO, with the exception of the third-party marks, data and components referred to in §§ 5 and 6. They are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and by applicable international conventions.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, extraction, substantial re-use or adaptation, in whole or in part, by any process and on any medium, is prohibited without the publisher's prior written consent, subject to statutory exceptions. The names “DEVOLIM” and “Bimo”, and the associated logos, may not be used without written agreement.
The site uses no third-party typeface, script or resource of any kind: it renders with the fonts already present on the visitor's device.
8. Liability
Bimo is an information and awareness tool. It is not a security service within the meaning of any regulation, not a blocking mechanism, not an official alerting service, and not legal, banking or financial advice. The results shown are provided for information and are based on the signals available at the time of the request.
The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure the relevance and availability of the service, without being able to warrant the absence of error, the completeness of detection, the continuity of third-party sources or permanent availability. It cannot be held liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of the information displayed. See the disclaimer on the limits of the analysis and Article 15 of the terms of use.
9. Hypertext links
The site and the app may link to third-party sites (public reporting bodies, distribution platforms, authorities). DEVOLIM exercises no control over those sites and accepts no liability for their content, availability or data practices. The app never opens an analysed suspicious link on its own: its destination is examined server-side and reported back as text.
10. Reporting illegal content
The app has no publication space, no comments and no publicly accessible user-generated content: exchanges between trusted people are strictly private and limited to two voluntarily linked individuals. Any report concerning manifestly illegal content, under French law and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services, may nonetheless be sent to [email protected], which is the publisher's single point of contact.
11. Personal data
Personal data processing is described in our privacy policy, which complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.
12. Accessibility
As a micro-enterprise, the publisher is not subject to the accessibility declaration obligations set out in Article 47 of French Act No. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005. Accessibility nonetheless remains a design goal: contrast, type size, a simplified mode and screen-reader compatibility. Any difficulty encountered can be reported to [email protected].
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules available to consumers, who may bring proceedings before the courts of their domicile.
